‘The Voice of Stray Dogs’ runs a trauma service for stray dogs in Bangalore. This is a privately run service. Dogs in distress can be reported on the form alongside or the phone number provided above.
- VoSD trauma service is available in a restricted area: Indiranagar, Domlur, Domlur Layout, Cambridge Layout, Jeevan Bhima Nagar, CV RAman Nagar, K R Puram, Mahadevpura, Doddanekundi, Sanjay Nagar, HAL Airport Road, Marthahalli, Brookfield, Whitefield. Though we do pick up animals from further away if we can. The ambulance and vet service is available between 9AM-6PM only from Mon-Sat. These timings are also extended on availability of resources.
- The service is available through 3 vehicles for rescue & small team of dedicated folks on VoSD’s rolls.
- We run our own small Trauma Center for rehabilitation of the dogs we rescue. The dogs are then released from where they were picked up from.
- VoSD uses Bangalore’s top vets on a commercial basis to provide the best care possible in Bangalore, or pretty much anywhere in India, to these dogs.
- Trauma/Accident cases – where the life of the dog is in immediate danger – take priority when you a report a dog, dogs with other diseases are given attention but on lower priority.
- The ambulance and vet service is available between 9AM-6PM from Mon-Sat. These timings are extended on availability of resources.
